Another year has come and gone and it’s a new start for 2011 now. Time to look back and reflect on what you have accomplished or not accomplished and move forward. This is the time of the year for new resolutions. Some of you or perhaps most of you have made resolutions, so it’s time to start acting on it.
For those who made resolutions in the part but have never gone around to taking action, have you made any resolutions for the new year? But then again, have you ever made any and never get anything done? If that’s the case, why should you bother making resolutions once again since you are going to break them. But then again, if you havent decide to do something, then it wil never get done and do you know that the most difficult thing to do is getting started
Some suggestions on how to keep your resolutions for this year.
1. Stop talking too much about your resolutions and work on your resolutions instead. Talking too much will likely reduce your chance of success because by talking about it to many and often may give you a false sense of achievement. This may result in you doing being less determined to taking action.
2. Set modest goals instead of big ones. It’s good to dream big but may be counter productive against you. Achieveing short term goals will give you the motivation to push you towards your ultimate goal.
3. Be prepared, write down your plans, stay focused and get support.
That’s all I have for now. But before I leave, I will post this question about how many of you have thought about trying to earning extra income to supplement what you have now perhaps by starting your own part time business, maybe you have thought of setting up a website to sell stuff, or other ways to generate passive income. I know this is one of the hot topcis that usually come up in conversations from time to time after all what we have is usually never enough and there aren’t any person that I know so far that complain of having too much money!
If you have thought about it, how long have you been at it and how many have actually taken action to do something about it?
